Yogurt Marinated Chicken Naan

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 1/2 cup Yogurt plain
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 Lime juiced
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 lb Chicken breasts
  • 4 pieces Naan

Yogurt sauce

  • 2 tbsp Yogurt plain
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice
  • 1 tbsp Cilantro finely chopped
  • 1 pinch Kosher salt
  • 1 pinch Chili flakes

Quick Pickled Onions

  • 1/2 Vidalia onion
  • 1 Lemon juiced

Instructions

Marinated Chicken

  • Mix all the marinade ingredients in a bowl.
  • Thinly slice the chicken.
  • Add it to the marinade and mix then cover in the fridge for at least one hour to marinate.

Quick Picked Onions

  • Slice the onions and place in a bow with the lemon juice. Set aside while the chicken is marinating.

Yogurt Sauce

  • Finely chop the cilantro and place in a small bowl with the yogurt, lime juice, salt, and chili flakes and set aside.

Chicken Naan

  • If using wood skewers soak them in water for at least one hour before use.
  • Thread the chicken onto skewers.
  • Bbq chicken at 400 F for 7 minutes, turning once
  • Shred or chop the chicken if desired.
  • Thinly slice the chicken and serve it on naan with fresh Cilantro, a drizzle of yogurt sauce, and quick pickled onions.
